1. General
Your personal data (e.g. title, name, house address, e-mail address, phone number, bank details, credit card number) are processed by us only in accordance with the provisions of Swiss data privacy laws. The following provisions describe the type, scope, and purpose of collecting, processing, and utilizing personal data. This data privacy policy applies only to our web pages. If links on our pages route you to other pages, please inquire there about how your data are handled in such cases.
2. Confidential processing of personal data
2.1. ROCKET Longboards ensures the privacy and the protection of the personal data of any User of the Website.
2.2. The personal data collected by ROCKET is stored in a protected file that is not accessible to third parties. The file can only be consulted by ROCKET Longboards.
2.3. Your personal data, insofar as these are necessary for this contractual relationship (inventory data) in terms of its establishment, organization of content, and modifications, are used exclusively for fulfilling the contract. For goods to be delivered, for instance, your name and address must be relayed to the supplier of the goods.
2.3. ROCKET Longboards does not give personal data to third parties, except (i) to the shipping company handling the transport of your package, (ii) in the case of personal data received through a give-away campaign: to her partner(s) in give-away, and (iii) except to comply with legal obligations and in case of request of legal authorities or police services in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.
3. Purpose of processing
3.1. ROCKET Longboards processes the collected personal data in order to get in contact with the User, to be able to offer the User an optimal service, for example for handling orders, or to give the User access to certain information. The data can also be used to inform the User about news, new services, promotions, and events by ROCKET and/or its travel intermediaries.
With an explicit, written, or different declaration the User grants ROCKET Longboards the right to send information and direct marketing emails to the User.
3.2. If the User no longer wishes to receive the information specified in 3.1, he can report this by email to info@rocketlongboards.ch. In the information emails sent by ROCKET Longboards to the User, there will be a hyperlink included through which the User can cancel his registration for those information mails.
4. Admission for processing
By providing ROCKET Longboards his/her personal information, the User expressly gives ROCKET permission to process the personal information for the purposes stated above.
5. Rights of access, correction, and deletion of personal data
The User has the right to see the personally identifiable information about the User that ROCKET Longboards registered and, as the case may be, to correct inaccurate, incorrect, or incomplete information. In addition, the User can request at any time the removal of his personal data from the file of ROCKET Longboards. The User can therefore turn to the responsible for the processing of personal data.
6. Information about cookies
To optimize our web presence, we use cookies. These are small text files stored in your computer’s main memory. These cookies are deleted after you close the browser. 8. Google AdWords Remarketing
We use Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise ROCKET Longboards across the Internet, from time to time. AdWords remarketing will display ads to you based on what parts of the website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your web browser. This cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer or mobile device. The cookie is used to indicate to other websites that “this person visited a particular page, so show them ads relating to that page.” Google AdWords Remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.
