The idea of the Gravity Plates
The Gravity Plate is attached behind the front truck to make fast stand up slides with small race boards easier.
We are proud to be among the two first companies to bring a board weight onto the market. The Gravity Plate weighs exactly 3lbs / 1.35 kg.
From development to production, everything is done completely in-house. The goal was to develop a complete set that includes everything you need. For everyone who doesn’t want to mess around with self-built parts.

What makes the Gravity Plates special?
The back is covered with cork to avoid scratching the board and to dampen vibrations. A 20mm cork riser is also included. This allows the center of gravity to be lowered even more in order to achieve the hammer head effect.
The set includes stainless steel bolts in lengths of 1.25″ and 2″ (without or with riser) and matching nylock nuts. Of course, we took the same diameter as your standard skate hardware so that they are interchangeable and everything can be fastened with a common skate tool. To reduce the risk of injury, the bolts and nuts are countersunk in the plate.
How to mount your Gravity Plate
You will receive a template with which the Gravity Plate can be centered on the board. We actively refrained from cutting any threads into the weight. Thus, the plate itself can be used as a drilling template. In addition, thanks to the nylock nuts, there is no need for Locktite.
The distance between the mounting holes on the Gravity Plates are 63.5mm or 2.5″.
If you order the plate from us together with a board, we will of course be happy to drill it for you. After ordering, we will contact you to determine the exact position.
In the video below Dani shows you how to mount your Gravity Plate in a few easy steps. All you need is a drill, a skate tool, and our Gravity Plate Kit.
