They are equally suitable for ambitious beginners who want to progress faster with a solid setup, as well as for experienced riders who want to further refine their skills.
Where old school meets new school you find the Classic Scout: a good old banana rocker combined with some new elements like wheel well flares in the front and our own invention, the Comfortail in the back. You won’t find a flat spot on the Scout.
The asymmetrical banana rocker descends slightly in the front and raises steeper in the back to form the tail. A short convex part behind the back truck anatomically adapts to your feet. This makes the tail super comfortable to stand on and creates a nice pocket for your stand up slides.
The slight flares give you some reference points for your front foot without limiting your stance. The front truck is wedged 3° while the back truck stays leveled out. This makes the board more agile and responsive.
It is built in our proven maple / flax construction. It’s deliberately not made completely stiff in order to maintain a certain liveliness. So it is smooth and fun to ride.
For the trucks, we deliberately chose the Bear Gen6 in 155 mm width and with angles of 50° at the front and 40° at the rear. The width fits the board perfectly. Thanks to the built-in 3° angle of the board at the front, the total is 53°. This means that the front truck steers more than the rear. What has been standard in downhill riding for years also makes sense on the pumptrack or when cruising. The board is agile but remains stable at higher speeds.
The Carver 70 mm Roundhouse wheels are grippy, yet fast rolling with a thin outer lip and solid core profile creating the perfect balance of easy pushing and sticky carving.
Our high-quality ABEC 9 Lightspeed steel bearings with built-in spacers and speed rings are durable, reliable, long-lasting, and fast.
Finally, the board is gripped with Jessup griptape. A classic that never disappoints.
