Based on the proven shape of the Classic Scout, we have developed the DH Scout. It is speed stiff and thanks to its sharp edges it offers more grip at higher speeds. The asymmetrical banana rocker descends slightly in the front and raises steeper in the back to form the tail. A short convex part behind the back truck anatomically adapts to your feet. This makes the tail super comfortable to stand on and creates a nice pocket for your stand up slides. The slight flares give you some reference points for your front foot without limiting your stance. The front truck is wedged 3° while the back truck stays leveled out.
For 2023 the flax fibers have been replaced by carbon fibers. This makes the board lighter and more responsive.
This board was actually designed for people who like to ride fast on short wheelbases, but it is also suitable as a city or pump track board for heavier riders.

Just received my DH Scout and I am excited that it is just as I imagined. I wanted a cruiser deck that was not paper thin as most cruisers are. This DH Scout is just a little lighter than my Rhino deck that has been my go to for blasting hills in Texas. Matched with Dont Trip Cybins 140-158, this cruiser can handle hills and graded parking lots and feels similar to how my Rhino is setup with Dont Trip Cybins 110-128. The Dont Trip trucks gave me a 22″ WB. The mellow concave feels good and the kick tail will come in handy.
