As parents, we know how quickly it can be decided whether a child enjoys a new toy or not. Often, children can’t steer a standard skateboard, and it only rolls a few meters. Then the board quickly gathers dust in the basement.
That’s why we equipped the Mini Scout Kids with extra-soft bushings, specifically designed for children’s lighter weight.
It also features soft wheels and our Lightspeed bearings. This ensures a smoother and longer ride.
Weighing in at under 3 kg, it’s also incredibly lightweight.
We are aware that, especially at the beginning, many children still sit or kneel on the board. After countless ruined pants and scraped knuckles, we developed our invisible grip. This textured surface is non-abrasive and provides excellent grip without the need for grip tape. It’s gentle on both pants and skin.
To ensure the board lasts a lifetime, we include harder bushings and a tool. As your child grows, the bushings can be easily replaced.

If more grip is needed later, the invisible grip can simply be covered with regular grip tape.
We manufacture the board entirely in our own workshop in Switzerland.
We use certified maple and natural flax fibers. These fibers are similar to fiberglass. They reinforce the board and make it more durable. Unlike fiberglass, however, they are naturally renewable and give the board optimal damping properties.
The flax fibers come in natural brown, or dyed black, green, or blue.
For the components, we’ve chosen renowned brands like Atlas trucks and Hawgs wheels. This means kids will enjoy their board for much longer than with cheap, underperforming products that break quickly.
