You can’t reinvent the skateboard. That’s a fact. But why shouldn’t we use our knowledge from building downhill boards to make it better? We designed a completely new mold with all it needs to build a better bowl and vert deck. Instead of the usual radial concave we press a tub concave that gives a better grip and a more natural board feeling. But the biggest innovation is the Comfortail. We invented this 3 years ago when we designed our Classic Scout and it has proven itself very well over the years. A short convex part behind the back truck anatomically adapts to the riders foot. This makes the tail super comfortable to stand on and prevents the foot from slipping.
Another innovation is the revolutionary construction. The boards are made of maple and natural flax fibers. Each board is individually pressed with epoxy resin. This ensures that they are stronger, have more pop and are more durable than normal boards. The most important thing, however, is that the boards ride more smoothly because the flax fibers absorb a lot of vibrations.
Thanks to this vibration damping and our cnc milled wheelwells, risers or shock pads are no longer necessary. Loose Indies with 58mm wheels without risers? Yup, we got you covered. We have specially positioned the wheelwells so that they give maximum wheel clearance without breaking the edge of the board and creating a weak point.
Last but not least, we have attached an ABS sheet to the bottom that protects the fibers and creates a smooth slide.
The Pool Scout also comes in a 9″ shaped version or as 9″ Single Kick.

I’ve tried a lot of Boards in the Pool from 8″ up to 10″…but non of them felt like the Pool Scout. I don’t know exactly what it is, but it goes so smooth arount the corners, and let’s you push so sick. I guess it’s cause of the flex: the borad is not stiff, you can feel the flex.
