This is a very unique colorway of the Simplex.
The urethane edges are in electric violet and orange which gives it a great 90ies inspired look.
Two-color urethane edges
Some of you might remember that we’ve been making boards with colored urethane edges since 2018. And for years, you’ve been asking us if we can create multicolored urethane edges and swirls. Last time Daniel poured urethane for our standard boards, he had a few spare minutes and tried some new things.
He experimented with two variations for two-color edges. The electric violet-orange Simplex is one of them. The other is the Strawberry Sundae version.
We’ll definitely need to work on the swirls, but the initial results are really cool.
Neon Urethane
Second, we had a cup of yellow neon pigments sitting around for years, unused. We tested that out too, and wow, we are thrilled! You have to check out the neon yellow Simplex.

Simplex – So simple yet so complex
When we designed the Simplex, we had a vision: A very simple board with hardly any distracting features that still feels incredibly good and intuitive. All of this paired with a construction that is completely waterproof and extremely impact-resistant. Weighing only 2.65 lbs / 1.2 kg, it is one of the lightest boards produced in series.
LAF construction is back
Thanks to the full urethane edges and inserts in truck holes and footstop holes, nothing can harm this board.
The Simplex is water and bomb proof.
Pre-drilled holes for footstops + weights
Because the Simplex is not choppable or redrillable, even more thought went into the shape and the position of the holes. The result is a board that does not require any modification of the dimensions. At the same time, however, all options are open to adapt the concave completely to the rider’s wishes.
That’s why footstop holes and two mounting options for our Gravity Plate or other weights are already drilled in.
Everything you need
The Simplex is equipped with our signature mellow elliptical concave. This combines the board feel of a radial concave with the locked-in feeling of a tub concave. Added to this is a mellow W at the back, very minimal flairs at the front, and a mellow rocker. Nothing that bothers you, but everything you need.
